As the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries serves as the trailblazer creating the initial pathway for all else to follow. That spark and fire is abundant with Aries which often seems to be inexhaustible. Aries is the first fire sign in Astrology as well as the first cardinal sign which gives Aries natives a blazing flame of enthusiasm to get things started.

With all the energy imbued within Aries, there also comes an air of combativeness. Aries, represented by the Greek God of War - Ares, is emblematic of the type of warrior this sign truly is. Aries natives must protect themselves from exhaustion and force themselves to rest from time to time. While they have energy in abundance, the energy is like a flash in a pan, there is an initial intense flare but the fire can quickly decrease in strength and power.
